Puppies! 5 Weeks Already?!

I know I know...
So many puppy posts!

Maybe you're getting sick of them (but really... how could you with all this cuteness?!).

I'm mostly posting these pictures so I can look back at them on a bad day and reminisce about the fluffy snuggles. Enjoy these lovelies!

The puppies are 5 weeks old this week, which means only three more weeks until they go to their new homes! It is sad that we don't get to bring one home this time, but let's be real... we're not ready for another puppy. We're still working on the first one!

5 Weeks old: This is our attempt at re-creating the picture below. Proved to be much more difficult when they are so mobile and goofy!

Pender was feeling a little anti-social on Tuesday when we went to see them. Started off by chewing David's camera bag.

Play time! Check out the chunky tails

Dog-pile on Charlotte!

Pender was ready for a nap so he kept running back through the kitchen to the puppy palace and crying at the gate.

Proud, tired mommy watching from the sidelines.

White balance very off, but isn't Davis handsome?!

Davis & Gibson

Davis, Gibson & Molly. Pender was again being anti-social and refused to be a part of the picture.

Roll over Gibson!

Good boy!

Little Molly is going to be trouble!

Pender coming back to check out the party before quickly running/galloping back to the kitchen.

Pender glaring at us from the kitchen while we played and kept him awake.

Sleepy Davis.

Molly giving Shel some love!

Charlotte always tries to be the center of attention. Good thing she's cute!

Gibson has become QUITE the cuddle bug! I'm already jealous of the family that takes him home. Nothing like Sherlock at this age. Sherlock would squirm until you put him down and then walk away and lay by himself and glare at you.

So much sweetness.

Thankful Thursday - 30

This week I am grateful for...

1. A Successful Babysitting Weekend. If you missed my blog about this, you can click this link. David and I had so much fun. Safe to say baby fever is on it's way! We are very thankful everything went off without a hitch, and that Brent & Amy were able to have a weekend away. Hopefully when we have a family there will be someone to do the same for us!

I was surprised that Sherlock wasn't afraid of the stroller. Didn't seem to care much that about its existence which was super nice.

2. Fluffy Puppy Butts. I only get to see these puppies three more times before they're off to their new parents! Must soak in the fluffiness and love while I can!

Mr. Davis and his fluffy bum

3. Chocolate. Typically I do not have much of a sweet tooth, but I wasn't feeling well at work the other day and then I remembered I had leftover chocolate! Hooray! A cup of tea and a Ferrero Rocher (or 3) was just what I needed.

Chocolate - A woman's best friend. Just kidding... it's wine, but you can't have that at work!

Until next week!

Puppies (House Hippos) - 4 Weeks

We got the privilege of visiting Shel and seeing her four puppies again last week Tuesday!
They were four weeks old, and were starting to play with each other and toys.

They still seem to max out at about 20 minutes of play time before it's nap time again though!

Instead of boring you with words, let's get to the cuteness!

Gibson is the greeting committee

Sleep Molly!

This litter is definitely more snuggly than the last one! At this age none of the puppies in Sherlock's litter would cuddle with me while they slept.

Oh Gibson... I can't handle it!

Molly Molly Molly...

Puppies are very interested in the camera at this age!

Do I look like a jungle gym to you Pender?

Gibson gnawing my thumb

Pender is strutting his stuff

Davis

Davis winding up for a big run wearing his little yellow boots!

Look at this honker! Pender perfectly poised...

All this play time is exhausting! Molly

Davis and Charlotte nose to nose

Gibson demonstrating his "Superman"

Cutest pile of puppies I ever saw!

Gibson and Davis seem inseparable

Cherish these moments <3

Molly passed out in my arms. I love puppies!
