Thankful Thursday - 64

There is lots to be grateful for this week!

1. Happy Anniversary!! November 10 (today) is mine & David's 4th wedding anniversary. I took a vacation day today, and we're going to get our maternity photos done in Fort Langley. Just about 5 years ago we had our engagement photos done there, so it will be fun to see how much has changed!
David is so good to me, and we have grown together significantly over our 9 years together. Marriage is hard work, but it's worth it... We are only at the beginning of this crazy ride of life together and I can't wait to tackle this next step with him!

Our family has already grown, and will continue to grow this year! Cannot wait!

2. One more month! My Maternity leave starts after work on December 9... One more month until I am away from the office for more than a year! I can't wait! 19 more work days!

3. Our beautiful country. I'm not trying to be political here or anything, but I am SO grateful to live in Canada. There is peace, freedom, beauty, and a personable face of government I find I can easily relate to. I woke up early Wednesday morning and checked my phone to see this...

Nice photo choice CNN. You look like you really like this guy... There may have been no "right" or "good" choice in this election, I just hope the people surrounding this man are able to keep him focused, on track, and thinking about the greater good.

On another (related) note, David woke up Wednesday morning and checked his email. I heard him laughing from our bedroom and asked him what was up. He just said, "And it begins..." He had received an email from a Real Estate Photographer from San Francisco stating he would be leaving his country and was actively and seriously looking for work in Canada doing Real Estate Photography. He is exploring opportunities and trying to get his foot in the door, and liked David's (Kimber Images') work. Interesting... rash maybe? As the election was narrowing down Tuesday evening the Canadian Immigration site kept crashing.

Our child is going to be born into an interesting world! Let's just hope "our world" remains a peaceful world...

What are some things YOU have to be thankful for today?
