Tavistock Point Walk

I read about this walk on a fellow blogger (and also a past teacher)'s blog.
Since it was such a gorgeous day today, David and I decided to venture out to Fort Langley to take a walk in the sunshine.

It's about a 4.2 km loop, but we walked to each viewpoint and made many photo pit-stops along the way. I'd estimate it took us around an hour and a half start to finish. It could easily be done in 45 minutes or so if you didn't stop to smell the roses.

Do you love my new rain coat? $69.99 for this Calvin Klein coat from Costco! Great find!

Sherlock kept trying to jump OVER the fence instead of pose nicely on it!

Great trails for walking. Lots of bikers out there as well.

Most of the walk is along the Fraser River with views of Fort Langley or the mountains and Maple Ridge

Part of the view at Tavistok Point

Sherlock DESPERATELY wanted to swim in the river. I wasn't sure what the currents were like so we kept him on a short leash.

Found some bald eagles enjoying the beautiful day as well!

What's that off in the distance? You've got it... Its the McBarge!

David and I had photos taken at this picnic bench for our Engagement Photo shoot over 4 years ago. Sherlock looks like he's being shy.

Our little family! <3

What did you do this Family Day weekend?
