This week I'm thankful for...
1. Learning to use the camera. I have David's old Canon T2i camera, which he replaced a couple years ago. A long time ago I learned all about F stops, shutter speeds, exposure, etc., but I haven't actually used it in a long time. Now I haven't really spent the time to relearn all of this, but David taught me how to shoot in raw and use Lightroom to manipulate the photos. Now as long as they're in focus I can create pretty much whatever look I want! Definitely much more motivated to pull out the big camera now instead of my iPhone.
I feel like he looks like a catalogtom model or something.
2. David's big break. I'll blog more on this another day, but about a week ago David had some really huge opportunities come up for his work, and if they all go well it could mean really big and great things in the future. Check out his website for pictures! Kimberimages.ca
3. Summer days. I am loving that it's light out past 9pm now! It does make me feel guilty for wanting to go to bed around then half the time though haha.
