This week I'm thankful for our many outings! We have had the privilege of going out and doing grown up things a lot lately! Tom & Juanita have been staying at our house the past few nights and they are the easiest guests ever!
1. Dog Agility Nationals. Allana was running Fynn in the nationals last weekend, so we went out on Sunday to watch a run. I always love going to these events. On our way home Dom fell asleep in the car, so we drove around for a long time, picked up some snacks and had a picnic in the church parking lot while he slept in the air-conditioned car. The things we do for our children!
Dom loves animals. He and Allana's puppy Voltage were equally curious about each other.
I had a salad too, but we snacked on mini naans and tzatziki!
2. Friends Trivia. We went with 12 of us to Edith & Arthur's for Friends Trivia on Tuesday. We invited Rachel along because we wanted her company, but also because she's a Friends genius!! Because of her extensive knowledge, we came in 1st place for the whole night! And because Kyle knew how many times Ross & Rachel slept together, we won a free round of drinks too! So much fun.
3. Pirate Pak Day! It's our 2-year tradition to go to the Pirate Pak days with Brent & Amy. This year we added another two kids as well as two adults (Tom & Juanita) to our crew. We didn't get a group photo of all 10 of us amidst the chaos. Imagine what it will look like in another 2, 3, 5 years!
Last year. Amy was 7.5 months pregnant and I was 4.5!

During intermission there was an opportunity to win a prize if you liked the Vancouver Theatresports League Facebook page. I liked it an WON! I never win anything! I got two tickets to any Sun-Thurs show to use before October 31st! I foresee a date night in the future! The Keg for dinner with our gift certificates and then Theatre Sports! Maybe that's how we'll celebrate 10 years together in September.
We have been having so much fun! Almost ready for a break though! Especially David. On top of all this fun stuff, he's been doing 3-5 shoots every day. Even this weekend he has some shoots. Time for a breather!
Also, HUGE thank you to those who have offered to stay over at our house while Dom sleeps to allow us the freedom to get out and be adults. We are so incredibly blessed.
