Rachel & Anthony's Wedding

On Saturday, Rachel & Anthony had their wedding starting at 3pm.

We brought Sherlock to the breeder, Shel's house for a Toller play date all day and night! He had a blast!

The wedding ceremony took place at Rachel's parents place in their beautiful backyard. Everything was perfect (except that it was what seemed like the hottest day all year)!

Trying our best to beat the heat!

After the ceremony, there was punch and ice-cream cones served to all the guests. From here, we headed to the Fort Langley hall for lawn games before the reception! We had a friendly game of bocce in the shade.

The reception was set up beautifully, and thankfully the air-conditioning in the building was working that day!

They served delicious Greek food for dinner, with appetizers already set out on the table and an open bar in the back. These people certainly know how to keep their guests happy!

The program for the reception was long, however they did an amazing job of keeping everyone on their toes, captivated and laughing. My abs actually hurt on Sunday because of all of the laughing on Saturday night. There were all sorts of skits, songs, videos, speeches, and other acts. Everything was executed perfectly. They have very talented friends and family.

After the program was over, we quickly got into dancing and partying. The dance floor was pretty packed the whole time, and even conga-lined outside for a party in the parking lot complete with glow sticks!

The bride and groom left in a convertible and all the guests threw glow-sticks at them as they were driving away so they were very visible all the way down the road.

It was a great party, and we didn't get to bed until 2am. Still haven't recovered from that I don't think!

Sherlock had a wonderful time at Shel's too!

Sherlock hardly moved the next day he was so exhausted from his time there. Here are two pictures of Sherlock after play dates with his sister. The top one is from 8 and a half months ago. The bottom one is from Sunday.

What a little den creature! He graduated from the IKEA bookshelf to under the IKEA side table.

And just because everyone needs to see a ridiculously cute baby every so often....
This is Violet, my cousin Matt & his wife Helena's daughter. She is the happiest little thing! Such a cutie.

  1. Wow, Rachel & Anthony's Wedding was truly fabulous. I am so grateful to you for sharing these photos here. Well dear, I also would be getting married on the Xmas day 2017 and have recently reserved one of the local Los Angeles wedding venues. But I am not able to find any good décor inspirations. Could you please help regarding it?
