Busy Weekend!

I have been feeling so stir crazy and slightly melancholy lately about being cooped up at home. This weekend I had David home, and we did lots of stuff outside the house. What a nice change!

Friday evening we had David's parents over for dinner, and they brought pizza and salad over. Yum!

Saturday we had some tentative plans that got changed, so we got some work done around the house. In the afternoon we got an invite from Scott & Ashleigh to go to the food truck festival in Langley. Sounds good to me!! After Dom's nap we packed up the kids and headed down to Langley. Dom in the stroller, and Emilia strapped to me we walked around, ate some delicious food, listened to some music, and let Dom wander. It was a really nice afternoon.

We also gave Dom his first haircut... literally hair-cut.

Sunday was our busiest day. We went to church in the morning, and then had my parents and Scott & Ashleigh over for lunch. After Dom's nap, we again packed up the kids and went to meet my siblings at Jeff & Marta's new apartment they bought in Port Moody! It's a super nice place in a beautiful area. We had some drinks and snacks, and went to check out the amenities. Dom was too overwhelmed for the pool, but there was also a big playroom he really enjoyed!

We left in time to put Dom to bed, and then Amy & Brent came over for a couple hours. It was so nice to see them again; it had been far too long.
