Emilia - 3 Months Old

I think the universe should let me stop time for a little while. I am loving watching Emilia grow, and I can't wait for all the milestones that are coming, but I wish I could freeze things as they are for a little bit longer. She is the absolute sweetest and happiest little girl. 

Weight: ~13 lb. (60th percentile) - we weighed on a home scale, so may not be perfectly accurate.
Height: ~25 inches (95th percentile) - Long & lean like her Mama!

Dominic at 3 Months

Likes:

• Sitting up on our knees so she's looking down on us.
• Music and singing.
• Dominic. He gets super big smiles if he walks by or sits/lays with her
• Her little bird toy. It has very bright colours and she could chat that guy up all day
• Laying on the floor, which makes it very easy for me to get things done while she's awake!

Dislikes:

• Being bonked in the head... but nobody likes that!
• Being tired. She is a pretty stubborn baby. If she's tired and she's not in her bed swaddled up she will cry  - long and hard. She will sleep in the car seat, but not for long, and then if she's still tired, cue the tears! It's really the only time she'll cry cry, so we consider ourselves very lucky!

Notes:

• Size 1 or 2 diapers. We have a few more 1's to go through before we size up, but she's ready.
• Size 3-6 month clothing.
• She is such a happy baby. 
• The most common words used to describe her are: Quiet, happy, delicate
• We often call her: Emilia, Em, Yaya, Little One, Baby
• She is still sleeping in the Love to Dream swaddle, and she's been sleeping great. 
• She has been sleeping through the night 90% of the time since July 6. The odd time she does wake up, it's usually an hour before our "morning", so just a quick 5 minute feed and she's back to sleep. 
• I have already started losing my hair! With Dom it took a couple more months, but I was also doing 1-2 night feeds every night still at this point, so maybe my hormones are different this time around. Who knows
• She's started sucking her fingers just like Dominic and myself (when I was a baby... not now). She's currently mostly sucking the two middle fingers on her left hand. That will likely switch to her pointer and middle finger once she starts poking herself in the eyes <3
• She is already sitting in the Bumbo! We had tried Dom in the Bumbo at this point, but his core wasn't strong enough to support his large head.
• She rolled from her back to her side for the first time the other day. 
• She sleeps on her back and dramatically drapes her right hand over her head all the time. Too cute!

800-10: Nap 1
1000: Wake & Feed
1130-130: Nap 2
130: Wake & Feed
300-500: Nap 3
500: Wake & Feed
630: Feed & Bedtime
